Specialty Items Specialty items offered by American Sling are numerous. American Sling produces many custom fabrications for many end users from around the region. With certified welding technicians on staff, many items that are on your 'must have' list can be fabricated with short turnaround times.
Spreader Bars When your load needs stability, not attainable using more conventionable means, we have the expertise to create lifting solutions that are fully tested and manufactured to A.N.S.I standards. Spreader bars, forklift attachments and various other items can be manufactured to customer specifications. Because the nature of special application hardware, we ask that you please contact our office in Fort Worth for any questions you may have. With 200,000 pounds of test weights on the premisis, all items fabricated can be fully loadtested on site.

Mil-Spec Items With the numerous defense oriented businesses located within reach of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, it only makes sense that American Sling takes an active role in working with members of the Defense industry when their needs include specialty parts fabricated from wire rope and web products. Many parts specified by these industries can be fabricated with full compliance to the rigid standards of Quality Control needed to guarantee Mil-Spec quality. Specialty Cables Over the last few years, modern architecture has introduced wire rope, in various forms to many projects around the area. American Sling has been in the forefront of this activity working with contractors in designing and manufacturing the right cables along with the hardware to fit their requirements. Our largest project, has been an order of several thousand architectural cables for the American Airlines Center located in Dallas. Our ability to provide the massive order helped this project meet it's deadline and open on time in July 2001.
