Synthetic Fiber Slings

American Sling Company is a distributor and a manufacturer of nylon and polyester slings. Slings contructed of synthetic material are cost effective, lightweight, and versatile and storage is convenient.

Web Slings

Web slings are constructed of flat webbing. This webbing can be layered in to plys. (More plys = stronger sling) Typical slings of single and double ply thickness are kept on the shelf in a variety of lengths.

Web slings come in a variety of widths and thicknesses. The slings regularly kept in stock are EYE and EYE FLAT (EEF) slings. These slings range from 1" to 12". The most common sizes are usually vary in widths of 1", 2", 3" and 4". We keep a good inventory of these slings made of 9000# webbing (90x) from 2' to 25' in length.

Bridle Slings

American Sling also produces special application slings for a variety of uses. Bridles can be produced in a large variety of configurations. Bridles routinely have a 1 to 4 legs. (Quotes on bridles that have more than 4 legs are available upon request). These assemblies can consist of a masterlink or pearlink at the top with nylon or polyester legs constructed usually 1" thru 4" wide with a variety of bottom hardware determined by the end user. Multi-leg bridles can be produced with a minimum of turnaround time required.

Specialty Slings

Nylon and polyester slings can also be produced with a variety of hardware to meet your specific needs. Tiedown assemblies, can be custom produced to meet your specific tiedown requirements. We keep many common fittings on hand at our facilities. Attachments for lifting slings are kept on hand for lifting assemblies. Aluminum and steel triangles, as well as choker fittings, up to 6" wide, are also available.

Polyester Round Slings

Polyester round slings offer other options that web slings don't offer. Polyester Round Slings have exceptional strength while being comparatively lightweight. The design of these slings is unique. A double sleeved jacket surrounds the inner construction of Poyester yarn wrapped in a continuous, circular fashion. Polyester round slings are great for picking up loads that need to gripped tightly while being lifted. Because of their design, these slings conform to unique loads well. Rather than a flat surface, the round body of a Polyester round sling can grip odd loads because of the multi-wrap design of the internal fibers. Because of their unique nature, these slings resist rotting and mildew caused by moisture.
